Glas en Groei: Een Mediterraanse Dans in 3D
Tiffany techniek Glas, koperfolie, tin en 3 x ijzeren constructie.
Mijn creatie – een triptiek van glaskunstwerken geïnspireerd op het Mediterraan bioom – belichamen de kracht en pracht van klimplanten die daar voorkomen. Ik ben te werk gegaan met een mix van traditionele en eigentijdse technieken waarbij ik organische vormen heb gevangen in een speels samenspel van texturen. Mijn visie werd tot leven gebracht met nuances van blauw en groen glas, die diepte en levendigheid creëerde. De klimplanten stel ik voor met geel, oranje en rood glas voor extra contrast. In elke 3D-gevormde trap die de klimplanten verbeelden zit de harmonie van de natuur. De werken zijn elk apart vervat in een ijzeren constructie en hebben hun eigen sokkel. Mijn bron van inspiratie is de ontembare natuur zelf. Ik nodig bezoekers uit om de subtiliteiten van de natuur te omarmen, de schoonheid van verbinding te ontdekken en het fragiele evenwicht van ons ecosysteem te waarderen.

Glass and Growth: A Mediterranean Dance in 3D

My creation – a triptych of glass artworks inspired by the Mediterranean biome – embody the strength and splendour of climbing plants found there. I proceeded with a mix of traditional and contemporary techniques, capturing organic forms in a playful interplay of textures. My vision was brought to life with nuances of blue and green glass, which created depth and vibrancy. I represented the climbing plants with yellow, orange and red glass for added contrast. There is the harmony of nature in each 3D-formed staircase depicting the climbing plants. The works are each individually contained in an iron construction and have their own pedestal. My source of inspiration is the indomitable nature itself. I invite visitors to embrace nature’s subtleties, discover the beauty of connection and appreciate the fragile balance of our ecosystem.

Verre et croissance : une danse méditerranéenne en 3D
Technique Tiffany. Verre, feuille de cuivre, étain et 3 x construction en fer.
Ma création – un triptyque d’œuvres d’art en verre inspiré par le biome méditerranéen – incarne la force et la splendeur des plantes grimpantes que l’on y trouve. J’ai procédé à un mélange de techniques traditionnelles et contemporaines, capturant des formes organiques dans un jeu de textures. Ma vision a été matérialisée par des nuances de verre bleu et vert, qui ont créé de la profondeur et de l’éclat. J’ai représenté les plantes grimpantes avec du verre jaune, orange et rouge pour plus de contraste. Dans chaque escalier en 3D représentant les plantes grimpantes, on retrouve l’harmonie de la nature. Les œuvres sont contenues individuellement dans une construction en fer et possèdent leur propre piédestal. Ma source d’inspiration est la nature elle-même, indomptable. J’invite les visiteurs à embrasser les subtilités de la nature, à découvrir la beauté de la connexion et à apprécier l’équilibre fragile de notre écosystème.
