Vergankelijkheid
Installatie; Spiegels, metaal en koord
Onze inspiratiebron is een boom, verweerd met stekels en een naakte holte. Hij toont zowel kracht als breekbaarheid. Wij construeren in dit werk de confrontatie tussen de organische natuur en kunstmatige structuren. Als collectief was het belangrijk een evenwicht te vinden in elkaars visie.
Wit is de basis van de beelden. Het verbergt niets en laat de vorm zijn werk doen. Het benadrukt de interactie met de omgeving.
De foetus in de holte en het figuurtje dat zich naar de buitenwereld richt, geeft ons perspectief op de toekomst.
De projectie van spiegelende zuilen toont een wereld die altijd in beweging is. De ruimte is sfeerbepalend en verbeeldingskracht is een instrument voor een maatschappelijke boodschap: de boom vertelt het verhaal van de cirkel van het leven.

Impermanence
Mirrors, metal and cord
Our inspiration is a tree, weathered with spines and a naked hollow. It shows both strength and fragility. In this work, we construct the confrontation between organic nature and artificial structures. As a collective, it was important to find a balance in each other’s vision.
White is the basis of the sculptures. It hides nothing and lets the form do its work. It emphasises the interaction with the environment.
The foetus in the cavity and the figure facing the outside world gives us perspective on the future.
The projection of mirrored columns shows a world that is always in motion. Space is atmospheric and imagination is a tool for a social message: the tree tells the story of the circle of life.

Miroirs, métal et corde
Notre source d’inspiration est un arbre, vieilli par les intempéries, avec des épines et un creux nu. Il montre à la fois sa force et sa fragilité. Dans ce travail, nous construisons la confrontation entre la nature organique et les structures artistiques. En tant que collectif, il importait d’équilibrer la vision de chacun.
Le blanc est la base des images. Il ne cache rien et laisse la forme faire son travail. Il souligne l’interaction avec l’environnement.
Le fœtus dans la cavité et le personnage tourné vers le monde extérieur nous donnent une perspective d’avenir.
La projection de miroirs en colonnes montre un monde toujours en mouvement. L’espace donne une atmosphère et l’imagination est un outil au service d’un message social : l’arbre raconte l’histoire du cercle de la vie.
